your gateway to a wealth of information about our benefit plans, as well as the tools you need to make informed decisions about your coverage.
During Open Enrollment, you should visit the CIGNA HealthCare pre-enrollment website to compare plan options, and get information to help you estimate your health care costs.
The EMCOR Pre-Enrollment Site User Guide provides step-by-step instructions to assist you in navigating through the website as well as provide the user name and password.
One of the most important benefit decisions you’ll make is the right Medical Plan for your needs: the Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP), the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), the Basic Plan or the new Core Plan. If you live in California, you may be able to enroll in the Kaiser Plan.
If you enroll in the CDHP or Core Plan, your election will be sent to HSA Bank, which establishes your HSA bank account.
EMCOR offers you Group Life and Disability Insurance as part of your benefits program. You may be able to purchase additional coverage during open enrollment.
The elections you make will be in effect for one year, January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015. Unless you have a qualifying life change that allows you to change your benefits, you will not have the opportunity to enroll again until the 2016 Open Enrollment period.
Regardless of the Medical Plan you choose, you may enroll in the Dependent Day Care FSA to receive tax-free reimbursement for expenses related to the care of your dependents while you work.
If you plan to elect the HMO or the Basic Plan, consider enrolling in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to maximize your tax savings. You can also enroll in the Health Care FSA if you waive medical coverage.
